my friend just took 9 of the paracetemol / codeine tablets , but took the paracetemol out of it!. is this abit stupid or actually dangerous !?

Heaven only knows how she 'took the paracetamol out of it'!.
You do not say how much codeine she took either!. If they were Cocodamol (UK) each one contains 8mgs, so she would have tken 72mgs which is far too much and is actually dangerous, especially if she isn't used to codeine!.
If she takes it regularly (hopefully in much smaller doses) there is a risk of developing a tolerance, becoming addicted!.
Adverse effects are nausea, drowsiness,, vomiting, dizziness!.
There are a lot of contra-indications, eg renal or hepatic (kidney or liver) impairment!.
I don't suppose any of this will stop her if she is intent on endangering her life, but that is exactly what she is doing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

any misuse of medications is dangerous, and yes- stupid!. besides overdose issues- taking medications of this sort can cause kidney damage, liver damage etc!.
