Question: When you refill a prescription, do you have to go to the same place!?
I got a prescription filled at WalMart!. They gave me these tablets that were premeasured into a cardboard container, not a pill container (orange ones with label, you know)!. So I have this container and it has the label on the box, saying one refill before next year!. Do I take the empty container with me to get a refill!? And do I need to go back to the same place again to get the refill!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't have to take the empty box back but you do need the prescription (RX) number that is on the label!. If you are going back to WalMart, you can go to any WalMart!. You can call in your refill to whatever WalMart you want to go to!. They will ask for that RX number!.
If you go to a different pharmacy, then take the box with you!. They will take the information off the label and get the prescription transferred for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It would probably make the whole thing easier to go back to the same one, but WalMart should share their information with their other stores!. When I go to get a refill on my prescription I don't need anything other that to know my dob and occasionally they ask to see an ID!.
I would go back to the same one if you can just to make the whole thing a lot easier!. I have never tried to access from a different place but they keep a record of your prescription!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you have to do is go to the same place to refill it until they tell you have no more refills than you must go to the doctor for another prescription!. Then you can get them somewhere else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
