Answers:
If you don't have a bowel movement everyday, and this has been going on for some time, it's just normal for you!. Everyone's body is a little different!. Most people have a BM everyday, but some maybe only three times a week!. As long as you're not going for days on end and then having very painful BMs, I wouldn't worry about it!. Try to drink adequate amounts of water, eat fruits, try that Danactiv yogurt stuff, and maybe eat a bran cereal every morning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
When I lived in the States I used to have this problem a lot!. American food is notoriously lacking in fiber!. My doctor ALWAYS told me exactly the same thing and it ALWAYS worked:
1) Increase your fiber intake
and
2) Eat yogurt at least once per day
That's it!. For the fiber, I found it easiest to take psyllium capsules!. Psyllium is a natural fiber and is extremely good for you!. It has no negative side effects when taken in moderation!. You can find psyllium capsules at ANY pharmacy (they're usually with the laxatives - ask the pharmacist if you can't find them)!. The directions on the bottle advise you to take 5 or 6 per day!. This is fine to start with, but I've found that as the symptoms decrease, it's better to decrease intake to one or two per day!. If I don't, I sometimes end up with the opposite problem!.
There are some FANTASTIC yogurts on the market today!. I don't know if you're the yogurt freak that I am or not!. There's one in particular called Wallaby Yogurt!. Whole Foods carries it (as do most higher-end grocers) and I'm in love with it!. The Banana-Vanilla variety is to die for!.
Follow this regimen and you should be right as rain in about 48 hours or so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

most constipation meds take a few days to do anything so try to be patient!. Also, there are medicines that work in different ways if this one isn't doing it for you!. In the meantime, honey sometimes helps, the Greeks swear by olive oil (a tablespoon), coffee can help but make sure you're drinking plenty of fluids!.
have you tried lactulose!? It's one of the safest you can take but also very effective and you have room to vary your dose according to what you need!. maybe ask your doc!? Www@Answer-Health@Com
