What do you do when you can't sleep? Do you count sheep? What do you do??!


Question: What do you do when you can't sleep!? Do you count sheep!? What do you do!?!?
I have a hard time falling back asleep if i wake up in the middle of the night, and i was just curious to see how ya'll remedy that!. Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I learned kind of a meditation thing!. you breathe deep in and out!. concentrate on like your toes!. breathe in and out telling your body to relax just your toes!. then work your way up to feet legs knee fingers arms shoulders parts of your face!. keep breathing in deep your whole body feels relaxed and it helps your sleep!. or if your stressed it helps out too! try it! don't think about anything else exept that body part and breathing too! Say to yourself that you are going to try to stay up for an hour, you can leave your eyes open and then close them since it's more comfortable anyway then imagine the color blue!. Blue like the sky, blue like the ocean, any image that comes up from thinking imagine it's blue, the room you're in is blue, everything is blue!. Be persistent imagining everything is blue!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hmmm i usually turn on the tv and watch a little!. you could try that, but that might wake you up even more!. you could also try turning on some music, not to loud though, just so you can barely hear it or just start thinking about something, like maybe a bf if you have one!? thats what helps me go to sleep sometimes!. i suggest that you dont get up and do anything with bright lights or anything that uses a lot of energy cuz its gonna wake up your body even more and your bodys gonna think that its time to get up, when its really not!. reading helps too sometimes!. actually when i was a little younger and i couldn't ever go to sleep i would read, because that always made me tired!.

I read!. I hate reading so it makes me so bored I fall asleep!. LOL!. Just make sure you use a flashlight when you do this, not a regular light 'cause that'll waste electricity LOL!. Counting little cartoon sheep works really well for me, too!. Or take Benedryl!.!.!.!.it makes you sleep like a log!.!.!.:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It takes me like an hour or so to fall asleep every night!. And what sucks is that I can't fall back asleep!. I tried to count sheep, it doesn't work!. I think about what I am going to dream about or I take sleeping pills and sleep through the whole night!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

if i don't go back to sleep in about 5 minutes,i get up and do something!.!.!.!.!.

read, walk around the house, look out the window, clean the toliet, get on here!.!.!.!.!.in a bit, i get sleepy again and go back to bed!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if it's just a kinda can't sleep, i listen to music!. if it's an anxious, no chance at sleep within an hour, i take 2 benadryls!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i tend to stay awake all night so that the next night im so tired and just falll assleeep!.
