I'm a total insomniac...what should I do to fall asleep earlier?!


Question: I'm a total insomniac!.!.!.what should I do to fall asleep earlier!?
No matter what time I wake up in the morning, I can stay up till the next morning, sometimes even to 8 or 9 in the morning!. I usually take allergy medicine at night and that works, but I can't take it every night!. It's like throwing away money just so I can get to sleep!.
At night if I can't fall asleep, I need to do something besides lying in bed!. I either clean, read/write, watch tv, or go on the computer!. The tv used to help me fall asleep, but now I find myself watching it till 5-6am just for something to do!. At first I thought my insomnia was due to the computer or tv, but I recently discovered that's not the issue!.!.!.I made myself go without for a night and ended up cleaning the whole house and doing 6 loads of laundry!.
So I need tips to help me fall asleep!. Anything but the allergy medicine, because we need it for other things too!.

No caffenine after 4pm, try getting all of your cleaning done during the day (so you won't worry about it at night), take sleeping pills, and if the problem keeps getting worse, then go see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first its not insomnia!. insomnia is when you cant sleep at all!.

Now don't fall asleep after staying up all night just try your hardest to stay up until the next night!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I take melatonin supplements and read for a long time!. That usually does it for me!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same issue and it is a shame!. A good woman since I am a man seemed to work but since I have not had a good woman for a while the only thing I can do is Pushups, Situps,run, and eat lots of tylonol pm!.!. I use to take some Ambien but at $5 a pill it is stupid!. lol
You could try a good man!. I know if you have one now it is not working!. lol!.!.!. Everything else you need a script for!. You might just want to see the doc!. sleeping pill work at times!.!. not all the time!. I didn't sleep last night myself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Here's something that has always helped me, as I can become a ridiculous insomniac at times!. What's important to remember is that everybody's insomnia starts somewhere!. I find that when I sink into insomnia it usually begins with me staying up an entire night despite slight fatigue and then taking little cat naps in those boring classes during school!. Or taking a nap when I get home, thus giving me energy before its even night time!. I found that the insomnia goes away when I revert back to a structured daily routine!. I stay up for a whole night and then stay out of the house for the entire day (whether its work or something else)!. That's the key, when you are up all night, stay up all day! The best way to do that without getting tired is to stay active so dont stay in the house!. Do something outside and spend the whole day doing it!. You may experience periodic fatigue but it goes away as you continue through the day!. keep this up and you'll notice that in addition to getting tired at a normal time at night, you'll start waking up earlier and earlier in the morning until your proper sleep cycle is restored!.
