definitely start by cleaning it with peroxide!. dont put ointment on for long periods of time because it will keep it moist and make it harder for the infection to go away!. once it is no longer infected (make sure you wear sandals and keep it aired out as much as possible) then address the actual toenail!.

If its not that deep i use tweezers to pull it out then cut it!.!.
My granma always told me to cut a V into the nail and as it grows out a bit you can pull the ingrown half out!.
After that its off to the doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it's not oo bad I usually take a dull knife that I use to clean under my nails and work it under and then cut it off!. It can be painful but it works, and feels much better after!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
