Question: What causes me to be wide awake the moment my head hits the pillow!?
I am very tired and feel the need to sleep until I try to and then I am wide awake!. It normally takes me 2 - 3 hours to get to sleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the perfect solution to your delimma!.
Read "The Spiritual Man" by Watchman Nee and because of Spiritual Warfare you'll be fast asleep before you make it to the second page!.

Satan does not want us to read that book because it's written by the Holy Spirit and is pure concentrated wisdom from God!.
So to keep us from reading it he will cause us to become very sleepy to the point of not being able to keep our eyes open which happens to me every time I pick it up!.
That's why I'll drink two pots of coffee every time I want to read it so I'll at least read about five pages or so before I konk out!.

I don't have that problem - I have the problem of waking up in the middle of the night multiple times and not being able to go back to sleep for a long time!. A trick I learned that's WAY better than counting sheep or anything like that is to go thru the alphabet and think of things, like!.!.!.I sometimes think of countries:
Australia
Brazil
Canada
Denmark
etc!.
Try this - it's a lot more relaxing than counting to 100 - i usually don't make it past JWww@Answer-Health@Com

well my pschiatrist told me i'm a person of reflection and that b4 i go to sleep i must rethink and plan my day ahead and remember what people say and ponder about events that happened to me that day that i should remember!. like a look from a girl, or what i ate for lunch and if that's what's my causing my stomach to go bad or just you know stuff!. maybe your a reflector!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It can be too much caffeine during the day, or sugar rich diet!.
