Question: Help with tongue piercing/bleeds a lot!
I had my tongue pierced last wednesday and it went well (did my mouthwash, ate ice blokes, etc!.!.!. and ate solids too) until yesterday! Yesterday in the afternoon i started to bleed from the tongue and i would wash my mouth with water then spit it out and every time i would have like 5 "water mouthwash" full of blood!. When i woke up this morning, my mouth was full of blood, i really wanted to puke!.!.!. Today went well, no problem until now , it started to bleed again!. No excessive pain just a slight continuous pain and swollen tongue!.
I had it done 2 years ago but took it off and it didn't happen!. My friend who's at my house at the moment told me except for the blood, i'm not as worse as her sister when she had it done!. it doesn't seem like i have an infection as I can talk, eat etc!.!.!.
Why am I bleeding so much!? What can i do to stop it!? Should I take it out!?

i used to work at a piercing studio, its normal!.!.!.!.tongue piercings are really really picky healers obviously cuz they are in your mouth!. Just keep up with your daily routine, 3 mouthwashes a day, or it would actually probably be better to switch to a saline solution (about 1/4 teaspoon of salt in 8 oz!.) and rinse with that!. also use an anti inflammatory, it will help with the pain and if u have any swelling!. Just gotta keep up with it and bear with it, eventually it will get better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
