Baby has rash from drinking pineapple juice?!
Question: Baby has rash from drinking pineapple juice!?
The baby's father, gave him a small amount of pineapple juice!.
And now, he has a rash around his private area!.
He screams when the mother tries to put ointment on it!.
Is there any way to get rid of the rash, without hurting him!?
We were going to let him around the house without a diaper on, to let him get some air down there!.
Any other ideas to help him get rid of it!?

Oddly my kids get it even from watered down apple juice, I have to try everything, the best thing I have found to date to put on an "Acid Poop Rash" as I would call it that doesn't sting and stops the pain!.!.!. weird but Neosporin With Pain Relief or Bag Balm !.!.!. nothing else works as fast as those 2 for my kids and it doesn't seem to hurt them as much as the other options!. Good Luck!
Pampers Cruisers also have a cool lining that help with rash too!. The purple box!.
Edit: Yogurt I forgot that!.!. I dont know why I think it works but i feed my kids yogurt after they get something acid like even certain fruits!.!. they just seem happier after some yogurt w/ active cultures!.

Try the Johnson & Johnson baby creme!. I used one, it had a mint green writing on the tube, but can't find it now!. They made it, and it worked for the acid burns!. I used it as a preventative with all diapers from that point on, and he never got diaper rash after that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think you should take the baby to the doctor and get the right prescription instead of self-medicating!.
