Why don't adult blood pressure cuffs work for me?!
Question: Why don't adult blood pressure cuffs work for me!?
I use to have no problem finding out my blood pressure when I would use the machine in my house, one in a pharmacy and at the doctors but all of a sudden, none of them work!. I have not lost weight, I am pretty much the same size and if anything I have grown a little!. I have a small figure and at the doctors they told me I needed a child's cuff but there wasn't any around so, they did not calculate it and just went on!.
Has anyone had a problem like this!?!?
And does anyone know of any other reasons other then the cuff is too large!?
I am aware that movement can cause it to be off or not work but I have sat completely still and still nothing!.

I think its definately the cuff size!. They have to use a larger cuff for me and if they don't have one!.!.!.they can't get an accurate reading or the darn thign pops off!. It's just the way your arm is built!. Unless you want to bulk up your arms, there really isn't anythign you can do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
