Question: Why is it so hard to take care of ourselves!? Esp!. people with depression
Hi all,

Just sitting here thinking about how so many of us are wanting to do some self improving or get more healthy, you know!.!.!.things like that!.

Why is it so hard for me to get my **** off the couch or out of bed and go to the gym!. I am trying to look at this as honestly as I can!. My body should be craving health but I do nothing about it!.

Sure there are times I go, and get more healthy, then for whatever reason I stop!. Isn't that a 'break' from a clear mind!?

I mean, our goal in live should be to keep healthy bodies right!? So why isn't my body encouraging me to do that!? I feel like something is switched off in a lot of us!.

I know when I am dealing with depression, it's worse!. Just having a shower if a big flippin' deal!.

I'd love your insight into this, it just doesn't make sense to me sometimes!.

I've been exercising most of my life and sometimes I struggle to get my butt out there and start, but once I get going, I do okay!.
I've learned not to push myself disrespectfully!.
When I know I should go for a jog, I tell myself that I can go as slow as I want and that's okay!.
Sometimes I just walk, and that's okay too, because once I'm back into the habit of DAILY fitness, I find myself going harder and enjoying it!.
Here are some good ideas:
1!. Do something that gets your heart rate up a bit like, walking, running, biking, and swimming!.
2!. Eat Whole, Organic foods like: Broccoli, Cabbage, Organic Brown Rice, Beans, Spinach, Sweet Potato, Apples, and other fruits and vegetables in their Natural State!.
3!. Avoid eating corn, white bread, white rice, white potatoes, candy, sodas, chips, and anything else that you already know you shouldn
