From these symptoms, would you say my sister suffers from anorexia?!

Question: From these symptoms, would you say my sister suffers from anorexia!?
Over the last 5 months I've noticed a complete change in my sister!. She's become so distant and cold to the family!. She has always been known for being the life and soul of the party, making us all laugh and being so charismatic!. Then around 5 months ago she split with her long term boyfriend!. They'd been together for 5 years, so naturally she was devastated by that!. Slowly I noticed she has become reserved and detached from herself and us!.
During mealtimes she pushes food around her plate and only eats the vegetables!. I know she doesn't eat at any other point throughout the day, therefore she can only be eating those few morsels at dinner!.
Her exercise regime has also increased!. She's always been fit and healthy, but recently she has been jogging excessively and doing excess amounts of physical labor where she can!.
The clothing she wears has also been modified!.Her style has become increasingly baggy and clothes that hang off her, and don't shape her at all!. This contrasts greatly to her usual attire!.
My sister weighs 90lbs and is 5'5" tall!. She's 18!. Am I right to be concerned!? What can I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

She sounds like she started out being depressed then it escalated into anorexia!. I think you and your family need to counseling!. I would not keep bringing it up to her because sometimes that could make things worse!. I believe that if you get professional help they can you deal with the situation!. Unfortunately you cant force your sister to get help!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't say for sure she's anorexic!. Sounds like she's still suffering from a broken heart!. Anorexia is like a phobia in that you percieve yourself as being overweight even though you're not!. Sounds like she just put too much emotional capital into this guy and he committed some sort of ultimate betrayal!.She's basically just feeling sorry for herself!. As long as she doesn't turn to drugs or alcohol she should snap out of it eventually!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell your parents and intervene immediately! There is very clearly something wrong be it an eating disorder or something else!. She needs therapy and for people to help her make healthy eating choices!. If you notice her not eating bring her something to eat!. Anything to get some calories in her!. If she gets too thin he body will shut down and it could kill her!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

get help straight away!. talk to your parents and then have them contact a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Intervention would be the best idea!. I would tell your sister about your concerns and assure her that you are there for her!. That way she will not feel she has to go through any therapy and life changes alone!. This could be an eating disorder!. It could be depression too, which causes problems with eating and appetite!. She may be excersizing to raise endorphins to make herself boost in spirit a little!. Or it could be a part of an eating disorder!. Or a combination of both illnesses!. Really no time to wait on this because of the trauma and illness that can result from a poor diet!.
