Question: How to get a spider bite to stop ITCHING!?!?!?!?
I keep getting spider bites at night while I'm sleeping!. Well!.!.!.okay!.!.!.I've gotten two in the last month!.!.!.one on my hand and one on my foot and they are the itchiest bites I've ever had!.

You can get Benadryl Gel (generic ok) over the counter and apply to the bite!. You can also get the pill form to take at night!. It will make you a little sleepy!. But I doubt it will last for 2 weeks!. The sting is from the venom being released into your blood stream and it will itch as long as the poison remains in your system!. Sometimes that lasts for about 1-2 weeks!.

As someone else mentioned-benadryl gel works the best!. Even if it is an off or generic brand!. It doesn't matter what the itching is caused by (poison ivy, oak, mosquito, spider, etc etc), it really helps relieve it (i swear by this stuff! I use it all the time)!.
One thing my grandmother used to do was mix baking soda with water to a paste, and then put it on mosquito bites and bee stings to help get rid of any discomfort, so you can also try that!. The paste dries up and hardens and sucks the moisture/venom out of the bitten area, and therefore relieves it!.

That's interesting!.!.!.how do you know it's a spider if you've never seen one in the house!? Could it be some other kind of insect!? That's alittle freaky!.!.!.

Nothing will work for two weeks straight!. You could try repeated applications of a hydrocortisone anti-itch cream such as Benedryl, Cortaid, etc!. (generic is fine and cheaper!.) Also wash your bedding in very hot water and keep it clean to deter the spiders!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
wash your sheets and clean under the bed to prevent the spiders, then get some Cortizone 10 anti-itch creme and put that on, you will have 2 put it on a couple times a day, but trust me it helps!. i know they are REALLY itchy but try not to!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Try not to scratch it!. Cos the more you scratch, the itchier it gets!. And you'll introduce more bacteria and stuff into the bite site!. Try a broad spectrum skin ointment called Gentriderm!. See a pharmacist or doc for that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
