Question: How do I break my habit of constantly popping my jaw!?
Since I've discovered that my jaw can pop slightly out of socket, I've developed a habit of popping it in and out over and over without realizing it!. Doing so has been giving me headaches daily!. Often, I will have a song stuck in my head, and I will subconsciously pop my jaw in and out to the beat of the song!. How can I quit this annoying habit!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try chewing gum!. You think it would give you the excuse to pop your jaw more, but it had the opposite effect on me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

why don't you take a video of you doing it, and put it on your screen saver and play it all the time, Hopefully you will more conscious of doing it and be able to control it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Your jaw pops because you have TMJ misalignment!. You need to go to a chiropractor who specializes in extremity care to get that fixed so your jaw doesn't pop anymore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
