What is the best time for me to sleep and wake up if I'm 16!


Question: What is the best time for me to sleep and wake up if I'm 16
I have a BADDD sleeping habit routine, I'll sleep at 12am sometimes, sometimes at 11pm, sometimes at 1am!. I know its not good so I want to make my habit better!.

My week is a little unstable:

Mon- Work from: 8:30am-3:30pm [wake up around 8:17am, which isnt good cause im being late]

Tues- Don't work [sleep in untill 11am sometimes][but fill in when needed]

Wed- Don't work [sleep in untill 11am sometimes][but fill in when needed]

Thurs- Work from 1:pm-3:30pm [but fill in when needed]

Fri- Work from 8:30am-3:30am [wake up around 8:17am, which isnt good cause im being late]

Sat- Don't work [sleep in as long as possible]

Sun- have Church at 1pm so have to wake to take a shower and get ready!.


The BAD thing about me is when I sleep LATE I come home and take a "nap" of like 2 or 3 hours sometimes!!! So I can't fal asleep at night and I'm totaly unscheduled!

So what time should I sleep everyday so my body can't get used to the time and not nag that it's tired!? lol

You need to get on a schedule where you go to bed at the same time every night, and wake up at the same time each morning!. Sleeping late and taking naps doesn't help at all! It makes it harder to fall asleep!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you have work early, go to bed around 10pm and wake up around 7am!. You will be really tired waking up this early at first but your body gets used to it and you start to wake up at that time without the need of an alarm!.

When you have no work, go to bed around 10-10:30pm and get up around 8:30 - 9am!.

When you get home from work, try to refrain from taking a nap!. Drink some energy drinks or coffee and try to keep active, then go to bed at the normal time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

decide how much time you need to get to work by 8:30!. let's say an hour!. set your alarm for 7 so you can hit the snooze button once or twice!. to get 7-8 hours sleep, you'd need to get to bed by 11PM or so!. adjust those times if you think you need to get up earlier!. just try to get up and go to bed at the same times every day, no matter what you have planned for the day!. if you stay out late, you can sleep in once in a while, but get in the habit of waking and sleeping at the same times all the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

WEll!. This is usually how life is when your young!.!.!.even into college!. You go to school, work, and want to party!. Hard to fit all of this in!.

I would suggest trying to go to bed earlier!. I am 21 and i need 8-9 hrs of sleep to feel normal the next day!. (i dont drink coffee or caffeine during the day)!.

I know your life is busy but this is the only suggestion!.!.!.go to bed earlier when you have to get up to work the next morning!.!.!.and try to go to bed around the same time everday!.
