i've been having trouble getting to sleep lately any help Www@Answer-Health@Com

Relax before you go to bed, e!.g!. read a book or watch tv in bed!.
Make sure you are in a comfortable environment!.
Try eating a lettuce leaf (these are known to relax you and help you sleep)!.
Try not drinking sugary drinks before bed!. Try to drink water!.
A milky drink (e!.g!. horlicks or milk) can help relax you ready for a good nights sleep!.

Warm milk works great!. Also try eating some turkey before bedtime, it's loaded with tryptophan, which relaxes you!. It's high protein content will help keep you waking up with hunger pains and help you sleep more restful!. Avoid strenuous activities and stressful situations, clear your mind and the sandman will surely come haha!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What I do is I listen to my iPod (or whatever you have music wise) and it puts me straight to sleep!. Also, clear your mind!. Sometimes when people can't get to sleep, they have a lot on their mind!. Make sure there are no lights on in the room, and just lay there quietly!. Make sure your TV is off and close your eyes!. Don't think of anything and hopefully you'll fall asleep!. Also, don't get all worked up at night if you can't get to sleep!. The more you think about it, the more it will be more difficult!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was taught a breathing technique once!. Breate in, all the way in, until you can't take in any more breath and HOLD it until you have heard your heart beat 5 times, then exhale, all the air out, until there is no air left in you and HOLD it until you have heard your heart beat 5 times again!. Repeat until your body relaxes!. It works for me all the time!.

Lay in bed and start wiggling your toes, and while you do that in your head tell your toes and feet to relax, repeat until you feel ready to go up, then concentrate on calf muscles, (keep repeating telling each body part to relax), knee caps, back, fingers, arms, neck and if you havent fell asleep by then just concentrate on your breathing which should help relax your mind which will also help you fall asleep!. even if i sleep early, i end up sleeping at 12

-so umh!.!. exercise during the day coz u kno how little kids r so active!? nd get tired and sleep easily!.!. so yea
-wash ur face with warm water every night
-turn off all electronics, computer, tv!.!. early
-no caffeine
-shower then let ur hair dry!.!. (dont sleep wit it wet coz ull get a headache)
-umh!.!. try not to think about anything
-clear ur mind
-meditate or read book before sleeping
-DIM the lights so its not too bright
-drink warm, hotish milk
-if music or sounds help u fall asleep, put them on timer!.!.
-dont wake up late!.!. set ur alarm clock!.!. coz if u get used to it, ull end up sleeping more in the day!.!. nd save the morning tiredness for tonight so ull get to sleep
-take a nap during the day
-try to make ur own dream and relax

Try white noise!. I have a fan on low speed when I'm sleeping just for the noise!. I've also tried the relaxation tapes like crickets and rain forests and things like that that has worked!. Everyone has their different things that work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have the same problem it gets on my nerves well what i usually do now is bored my self till i want to go to bed like if u have computer, tv maybe read a book that helps Www@Answer-Health@Com

Exercise a little more than usual, you will feel tired!.

i ususally have my dude come and put me to sleep on days like that!. if you can, make a booty call!

Get 2 pillows put them both sides of your head NOT under your head!. Take another pillow for you to hold in your arm, turn your head BUT not your body!. Keep your body facing forward but your head slightly turned either left or right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Counting out loud or in your head also find a very comfortable position make sure your feet are warm dont worry just count thats what I doWww@Answer-Health@Com

do a crossword puzzle or word search book, or even read,

that will make you , tired without meds,
