Answers:
No, this isn't malpractice! They sent you for an x-ray!. Not all broken bones show up in an x-ray, but that isn't your fault!. Both doctors came to the same conclusion- so it was obvious they didn't do anything wrong!. They were mistaken, but it is not malpractice!.

Your initial doctor did the right thing!. He sent you for an x-ray, then referred you to a specialist!. The second doctor looked at the x-ray, or did another one, and came to the same conclusion!.

Since the x-ray was clear, they probably assumed it was soft tissue damage (a logical assumption) and told you to take Aleve, which is for both pain and is an anti-inflammatory!.

Just because things didn't go the way you would like doesn't mean the doctors are at fault!.

Ask yourself what you expect to gain form suing!. If you are looking for money, you won't get it!. If you are looking to make it right, there is no fault here!. Even if you did sue, you will be looking at more in terms of fees and headaches then you could possibly gain!. You will only come out on the losing end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's malpractice but you might be able to sue both doctors but before anything I would get medical records from both Dr!.'s offices of the notes they took and x-rays (before even suing them)!. Take that information to a lawyer and see what they think can be done about it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Rather than asking on Yahoo! Answers, you should be talking to a malpractice attorney!. Your profile gives no clue as to where you live, but Jacoby and Meyers is worth a shot if you live in their area!.

Beware the statute of limitations!. Act now before they get away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you feel that suing a couple of doctors for making a mistake will make your pain go away, contact a lawyer!.

Yes this is serious malpractice!
They should have given you a MRI but they did'nt!.
Cosult with a lawyer and ask if its even worth sueing someone who does'nt have medical knowledge!.

I'm sorry that they did'nt detect your foot was broken!.
