Gale bladder problems....!

Question: Gale bladder problems!.!.!.!.
While I was pregnant with my son I started having problems with my gale bladder!. At one point my doctor mentioned taking it out during my c-section!. I ended up having an emergency c-section but she didn't take it out!. She says that it has to get to the point of me vomiting and or having diarrea in order for her to order a surgery to remove it!. How am I supposed to deal with the gale bladder attacks until it gets to that point!? I can feel another gale bladder attack coming on my stomach has been hurting all afternoon right where my gale bladder is!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The gall bladder responds more strongly (in other words squeezes out more bile) when you eat fat - all meat has fat, all animal products, all nuts and seeds!. I can't eat any wheat products either!. A diet of fruits and vegetables is less likely to bring on a gall bladder attack!.

I am going through this very thing right now so I know what I'm talking about!. I've been sick since June 10th (two months) and have lost 24 pounds!. I've been through the diarrhea and vomiting over and over but the doctors wouldn't consider that my gallbladder was causing my problem! They kept saying my gall bladder isn't infected and a stone isn't blocking the bile duct so they won't take it out!. I finally found a doctor who explained that there is "sludge" in the bottom of my gall bladder and, every time I ate any fatty food, the gall bladder had to squeeze harder and out would come some sludge!. The minute the sludge hit my duodenum, the pain starts!. That is about 3 hours after eating!.

I can eat baked potato but only if I put one teaspoon (just ONE) of extra virgin olive oil on it and then I sprinkle some spices on for flavor - my favorite one is Spice Islands Pasta & Pizza Italian Blend!. It comes with a disposable grinder so you grind only just as much as you need at a time!. It tastes so good this way that I don't miss the butter!.

I have also found that I can eat Rice Pilaf w/Lentils made by Near East!.

Once the pain starts (because I've eaten something I shouldn't have) it usually lasts about 6 hours and I haven't found anything to help with that!. But I've learned, if you want to try a food to see if you can eat it, only eat two bites of it along with the foods you know you can eat!. That way, if it causes you pain, the pain will only last about two hours instead of six!.

The doctor is willing to remove my gall bladder now that he knows about the sludge but I'm postponing so I can try alternative methods!. I am taking some liquid herbs to dissolve the gall stones and sludge and cause them to pass out of the body!.

I hope this information helps you!.

God bless you!

This is usually due to insurance!. The attacks are not a good thing!. Sometimes the best thing to do is for you to go through the ER when you have an attack!. I had to fight for months with my insurance company before they would remove mine - in my case they believed it was pre-existing to my marriage and coverage! My 16 year old daughter had hers removed last Feb!. She had weight loss and a lot of pain!. The doctors did not mess around!. They submitted it to the insurance company and within 6 weeks she had it removed!. If your general practitioner is telling you no - see a surgeon who will perform tests and bring any tests which were done!. Bet you have no problem having it removed then!. And do your home work when it comes to choosing a surgeon!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You don't have to be vomiting with diarrhea to have your gall bladder out!. You should visit a general surgeon, and tell him/her your symptoms!. A HIDA scan is in order, and if you are found to have significant gall bladder disease, they will recommend an cholecystectomy (removal of gall bladder)Www@Answer-Health@Com
