After Fainting Problems!

Question: After Fainting Problems
Yesterday I interned with a horse vet in very hot conditions (100F )!. We worked with a very injured horse that had a large, open wound with rapid blood flow!. The barn we were in was very stuffy and smelled like blood!. We were both working hard to help the horse!. I was holding a flashlight and trying to keep things sterile!. I think i must have locked my knees because slowly layers of black clouded my vision (over about ten minutes)!. When i understood that i couldn't stand anymore without fainting, I sat down and kept working!. Things slowly returned to normal!. My head has been causing me pain and i have been very tired since then!. Is this normal!? Is there anything that could help me!? Thanks to everyone who has advice!.

i think your blood pressure is low!. you sounded like y ou blacked out!. you sound as if you are also having some circulatory problems!. I would take asprin and try to rest!. you would seem tired after all the hard work!. also, it wouldn't hurt to go see a dr if this persists!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I faint or almost faint alot, I have high metabolism and sometimes food is not available for whenever my body needs it asap!.

But I usually don't have those headaches or am tired after a day!.

If it was hot, maybe you're dehydrated!.

Drink lots of water for the next day or two!. If it doesn't get better, go to the doctor's, regardless of the price!.

You may have gotten carbon monoxide poisoning, or it's the dehydration, or even worse, you might have caught an airborne bacteria from the horse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you may have been dehydrated!. That's how I feel when I've gotten dehydrated, anyway, and the conditions were right!. I'd suggest drinking a lot of water over the next day or so!.!.!. and if it gets worse, or keeps going, go to a doctor or the ER!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like you had heat exhaustion!. Make sure you drink plenty of water when you are in hot conditions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
