Each medication has a specific therapeutic range for efficacy, meaning that some meds require larger amounts to do their job!. Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor and is strongly CONTRAINDICATED in pregnancy (not to mention that passing out isn't fun) but it can cause serious fetal/neonatal problems -- that's the reason you were switched!. Aldomet is an antihypertensive that is exclusively used in pregnancy because of its relative safety to mother and child!. The dosage is indeed appropriate!. Congratulations, by the way!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi: You can't go by the number of mg's in different medications!. For example, an average dose of klonopin is 1 mg a day, while an average dose of lamictal is 150 to 200 mg a day!.

These are not blood pressure meds, but I am just giving you an example!. If you can't reach your doctor, call your pharmacist!. He can check the dosage in a minute or two!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Definitely, confirm the dosage with your doctor!. I'd like to suggest you talk to a master herbalist for safe, natural remedies for regulating your blood pressure, and be sure to let them know you are pregnant!. Providing a link below, and there is a phone number to call, and it's free advice!. Best wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take these medicines because there are required at this juncture!. Also take hot feet bath in the morning and specially in the night before go to bed!. Also take garlic capsules and onions and cummumber salad with each meal!. Hot feet bath should be for 2o to 30 minutes!. But it should have bearable /tolerable water and before one tambular of cold water should be taken and one wet towel should be put on head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The current physicians prescribing index does not list a drug by the name of aldomet!. Meantime you CANNOT compare the mg of one med against the mg of another!. That is like comparing apples to oranges!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
