Question: Do you have Social phobia, Do you work at home because of it!.
I think I have social phobia!. I have been a stay at home mom and housewife for 15 years!. A lot of things scare me!. I think about getting a job, but I am scared to go for an interview, or customers asking me things!. I am great one on one or talking to anyone I choose, but if someone confronts me, I shake inside!. I cant ask neighbours for anything, but I can help them if they ask!. I cant start a conversation, but I can talk about anything when someone is having a conversation with me!. I am not social but do great with social people!. People dont realize that I am shy!. I dont do well at get togethers and my heart runs fast under preasure!. I also have a bad forgetting problem, and that wont work at a job!. I dont have money for any doctor assistance so please dont mention that, also I know all about social phobia because I have read every website on it!. I would love a stay home job, because I do well, one on one!. I am just bored and would love to work and make money!. No, I think you are shy and out of practice in social environments!. Being at home all of those years merely reinforced your shyness and prevented you from practicing your social skills!. This makes you feel double uncomfortable!. If you were socially phobic, you would not talk to anyone!. I knew someone who would literally lock themselves in their bedroom for weeks on end when their social phobia got the better of them!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
