Question: A question about my bowel movements!? Help!
I haven't gone to the bathroom (#2) since last Sunday!. I did have my wisdom teeth taken out on Monday!. I don't know if that operation would have had anything to do with it, and I've also been taking Aleve 3 times a day and Penicillin 4 times a day!. What do you think is wrong with me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The bowel has "friendly" bacteria which helps break down matter for elimination!. A course of Penicillin kills bad and good bacteria and the result can be constipation!. Also, pain killers can reduce the urge to go because they "dull" the sensation to go!. Codeine and other pain killers are well known to cause constipation!.
A mild laxative will help, !.!. yogurt is suppose to help restore that bacteria, and for a direct resolution, a warm-water enema will give you relief!. I say warm water because preprepared enemas are often phosphosoda solutions and can be very irritating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the pain med can commonly cause constipation!. Buy an over the counter stool softener such as ducolax and buy a fleets enema!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you eaten enough for it to push the other out!? eat any type of fruit but when all else fails an enema is usually needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
