Question: Will I die if i have a pacemaker operation!?
I am 14, i had a pacemaker since when i saw 2 months old, my last operation was september 2001, i passed out on the streets and they rushed me to hospital, then they changed my pacemaker, and i am happy that it was successful but i'm scary, it has been 7 years and i think it's nearly time to change my pacemaker again, will you guys help me!? am i going to die this time by the operation!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think the glass is half-full: you've done it twice, your body's used to it, things go well when you do this -- you don't die!. You've done it twice and you've not died yet!. If you're looking at odds, past performance seems to indicate you're ok!
And it's not an Russian Roulette kind of thing!.!.!. it's not like you have 3 chances, and you HAVE to die on one of them!. If you say "Yeah but 10 percent of people die (a made up number) from pacemakers!.!.!." that means one out of ten people die each time the docs put one in!. NOT that if you get ten pacemakers, you'll die on of the times!.
Add to that: are you aware at how much progress has been made in the world of cardiac surgery, pacemakers, etc in the last 7 years!. Doesn't sound like much, but there have been all sorts of advancements in technique!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Everybody is going to die!. I don't think you'll die from having a new pacemaker installed, it's a fairly common operation but you never know!. Don't worry about it!. You probably have more chance of dieing without the operation as dieing because of the operation!. I think you should be very happy about modern medical science and be happy they have such things as pacemakers!. You are supposed to have your pacemaker checked on a regular schedule!. I don't know that you have to have it changed!. My mom has had one for about 10 years and never had it changed!. Check with your Dr!.
