I'm 22 and female- and I grew very quickly when I was young so I stopped growing when I was about 12- no joke I was taller than everyone at 5'2!.5" and haven't gone past that since!. Now I'm short to average compared to my peers!.
And to the last part I'm not sure!. I wouldn't worry so much about it though!. There are so many people at millions of different heights and they grew at different rates!. It's a hard thing to predict!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

as for the period/2-year thing, that sounds really unlikely to me!. most girls have their periods around age 10-12, and you don't see many full grown women walking around that are the size of 12-14 year-olds!.
i had my first period when i was 10, and at that age i was around 5' tall!. so no, i didn't stop growing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
