Nurses make a ton of money!. Rn's are in high demand these days!. My older sister is Dean of Nursing at Kent State University in Ohio!. She makes a 6 figure salary!. No matter where you go, if you have a 4 year RN degree, you will have a job waiting for you!. You don't say how old you are, but if you are getting near high school graduation, look into nursing!. I don't think you will be sorry!. There are lots of types of nurses, not all of them take care of sick people!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

First step: BREATHE! How old are you anyway!? It seems as if you're still pretty young; don't worry about all about the future yet!. Chances are, you're probably going to change your mind several times before, during, and after college!.

And another thing - if you want to become a doctor, the pricetag for college with be a TON more than 250 k!. It already costs about $200 k if you want to attend a reg!. 4 year college!. Just focus on your studies now, and chances are, you'll be ready for anythign in the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think its a great thing ur doing helping pepleWww@Answer-Health@Com

The fact is that a lot of people don't decide what they want to do until their 2nd year in the college!. My advice is to take your time and try to work at different places to feel what is like!. Just take your time yet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Check with a nurses registry for the educational requirements
then take a stenographer course the get a job in a doctor's officeWww@Answer-Health@Com

If you don't like to see people in pain, DON'T become a nurse!. The doctor may see people in pain, but nurses have to manage people in pain!.!.!.

If you want to be a nurse it opens up a lot of different doors as a nurse, you can work in specialist area's such as being in scrubs, anesthetics, recovery, cardiac!.

And then you could work in a nursing home if you don't like seeing people in that much pain!. Or recovery, because they ARE recovering, or anesthetics because then you put them to sleep and work with medicine; taking the pain away!.

I don't know about the college, I'm assuming you are in America, because I'm in Australia and it's University here!. But I know it isn't that long, It would still be four years, because you just go for the specialist area when you apply for the job at the hospital, and study to be a nurse (just that) in College!.

Nurses get good pay, my mum did full time for a year and got $80,000 that year, but it depends how much you work and the pay may vary hospital to hospital!.

Have you ever thought of maybe being a dentist!? Or a psychiatrist!? they are also under the medical title!. And if you hate seeing people in pain, yet you are passionate to become a part of medical staff it's likely you will overcome it, or be more determined to make them better!.

Good Luck, and you will know when it's right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 15 and for some reson i have the same problem as you but when it comes to giving people the answers i know it all so here goes

its not what your good at you need to be thinking about its what you like and enjoy doing say for instance you like motorbikes but you don't know the first thing about them you just have to get stuck in and learn and say afterwards you don't like that idea then you move on to some thing you think you mite like better until you've found your passion in life because you cud spend 8years in dr school and 250,000 and you don't like dr ing but if you've found your passion in life then wasn't that all worth it in the end but if you dont like nursing and ur stuck in that dor the next 30 years and unhappy just because you like the money then thats a sad life to lead

you know what im going to take my own advice on this one and become and bike fixer person maby one day ill have my own shop if i like it that is!.

hope this helps you and you have a happy life at whatever your going to beWww@Answer-Health@Com

my mom is a nurse and she makes good money!. she works at a local hospital and usually comes home and tells us how she touches mens genitalia and how it has fungus and stuff and stuff like that!. its kinda gross but you could work at a doctors place or something and give shots and stuff!. that pays good too!. especially now adays, nurses are in high demand!.

Besides, you dont need to pick now!. most people change what they want to be even after colledge so dont worry, who have all the time in the world to figure out wat you want to be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its ok and normal not to know what to do!. You sound young and confused!. There is no rush, you figure out where your strengths lye over many years as you experience new things!. Don't rush into something and remember that once you choose a career it is never set in stone!. You can change your path!. As for your inquires about nurses - they make a good salary, 4 years is generally the length of post secondary education required for this career but you have to be in a program that is specific to nursing!. I don't think you get to choose what type of nurse to become, when you get a job your generally put where ever the hospital needs you!. I have friends who are nurses and they have switched to different units in the hospital depending on what was needed!. What I recommend is taking some time to figure out what you are good at and what you enjoy doing, a lot of people pursue one of their hobby's and make it their career!. Talk with friends and family about this, write down where you see yourself in ten years and determine what you need to do to get there!. There are multiple resources like career centers, school guidance counselors and online websites that can help you decide!. Some sites even offer career personality tests which in no way decide your career for you but it provides you with new options and ideas you might not have considered before!. Ultimately, this decision is yours and no one can make it for you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
