Hi honey,
I get them too, almost as often, and also for no reason!. It's hard, I know, but there's a couple things you can do!. First, when you feel the attack coming on, immediately go into the breathing technique!. Breathe in while counting to ten, hold your breath for five seconds, then breathe out while counting down from ten again!. Another one that helps is to hold down one of your nostrils and breathe in, and on the exhale plug your other one!.
Remember to remind yourself that this is only a panic attack, it's just a fight or flight response, and nothing is really wrong with you!. If it helps, sit on the floor with your head between your knees and stroke your hair!. It may also help to whisper to yourself, something like a mantra!. Mine used to be nonsense like "I love you, I love you, you're okay, you're a goddess, you're powerful, you can overcome this!." It may seem silly right now, but when you are having an anxiety attack your mind is very influenced by everything that is happening around you or said around you, even if you're saying it to yourself!.
And finally, the best remedy for fear is to laugh in it's face!. Chuckle at yourself and the silly response your body is having!. Realize that nothing will come from this, and it will pass like all of the other ones you've had before!.
Good luck sweetie, best wishes!.

if you're willing to put the time and effort into it, i would strongly recommend cognitive behavioral therapy!. this therapy is great since it requires no medication!. you'll need to see a psychologist to get started with this therapy!. i know people who have gone from having panic attacks daily to completely panic attack free, over the course of about 1 - 2 years as a result of this therapy!. it's not easy, you have to put in a lot of effort and it takes determination, but i think you would greatly benefit from this therapy!. when I used to get them I would go out for a run, dance around the house or call a friend!.

once you understand them, know what's is causing them, know you are NOT dying, (common symptom) they will go away!.!.!.

getting active is the best way to burn off the adrenalin that is released into the blood stream when a panic attack starts!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have had panic attacks for 7 years now and have recently (within the last 2 years) learned how to cope with them!. I used to run out of the grocery store leaving behind my full cart of food, hot and sweaty all tensed up and shaking!. I finally decided that I would have to stay in the store when I had one to be able to get a grasp on myself and deal with it!. I now stand wherever I am when one occurs and clinch my hands into a fist and take several deeeeeeep breaths!. I know that I look kind of stupid when doing this but it sure does help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Breathe slowly and get a drink that has sugar in it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to get those ALL of the time!. Anti-depressants are frequently used to prevent panic attacks!. You might also want to see a therapist!.!.!.

What I used to do when I got panic attacks was that I would stop whatever I was doing, I would breathe and then do another activity to get my mind off of it!. Having someone you feel comfort with talk you through it also helps!. When I'm freaking out, my husband talks me through it and that helps!. But if they're really getting to you (as they did with me, those are the worst feeling in the world) I would seek a doctor's help and maybe get on anti-depressants or other panic disorder medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
