One more question for paramedics!

Question: One more question for paramedics
if a fentanyl overdose victim is found apneic without a pulse what will the ekg show then if he/she begins to lose that pulse!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Most likely PEA, or perhaps asystole!. Hypoxic arrests tend to degrade directly into PEA/asystole, avoiding the vtach/vfib route because the myocardium essentially 'runs' out of oxygen and can no longer function on waste products!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
