I would call the doctor's office and find out what is going on!. Tell them you were fine with the medication, and the doctor might send in for your refills!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could be diplomatic about the issue!. Simply call to confirm your date back and ask the office to call two refills to the drug store on your bottle!. I mean provide the telephone number to the front office and ask if they call in refills to "bridge" appointment dates!. Advise if Lunesta is working or not!. A similar sleep theraputic, Ambien, is now available via a generic version which is a big issue with the insurance provider!. I would view it as a good substitute!. Many doctors do not think of the drug costs to the patient or the insurance company!. There is a solution!. I hope the doctor realizes that you are gaining benefit from a sleep therapy and the money side is none of my business!. I will say that Ambien is close enough that an insurer would not be reasonably expected to pay the large difference in dollars for the newer sleep therapy!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most sleeping pills are habit forming and the Dr!. does not expect you to take them every night!. You can buy Melatonin at most walmart stores and general nutrition type stores!. It is made naturally by the body and not habit forming!. I would give them a try!. My Dr!. gives me a prescription sleeping pill called Rozerem!. It is not habit forming and I can't get to sleep without them because I have Eagle's Syndrome and the pain won't allow me to get to sleep without sleeping pills!. You might talk to him about Rozerem but give Melatonin a try!. They work pretty good!. I don't like the pm pills most people recommend!. It is only the generic Benadryl in them that puts you to sleep!. That is an antihistamine and can stuff up your sinuses if you take too many of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

They do that because you aren't supposed to take those pills the rest of your life!! Somehow, they are supposed to help you get back to sleep on your own eventually, but honestly I don't see how that is possible since they are such habit froming and addictive pills!. So anyway, your doctor probably thought 30 was going to be enough to get you back on track as far as getting back to sleep on your own goes, but it wasn't so now you need to call him and see if you can get some more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Call you Doctors office and request a script, they can call one in for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
