Will running help me to quit smoking?!

Question: Will running help me to quit smoking!?
Also will it speed up the recovery from the tobacco damage!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It won't necessarily speed up the recovery, but it will help you gauge the damage/recovery!. I had to quit smoking when I went to basic training, and we were running an average of 3-5 miles a day!. My lungs were burning so badly, it was like I could feel every single cigarette that I had ever smoked!. Running all the time like that gave me a sense of accomplishment and every week when I saw minutes dropping off of my run time, it sort of distracted me from the fact that I wasn't smoking!.

When you're doing aerobic exercise, you heart rate will go up, if you're under 25, then that heart rate is fine!. But be careful to not over-exert yourself in the beginning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first answer was right, but 270 is very, very bad!. only time will heal smoking damage in your lungs, but also it will take time to get into cardiovascular shape and you first need to stop smoking!. You can use the money you save on multi-vitamins, and buy "the patch " for a crutch!. I stopped smoking when my lungs gave out before my legs did on 20 rep squats, maybe this is your Epiphany to stop smoking!?
Running at a heart rate of 270 is a heart-attack waiting to happen!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think so!. You have to decide to quit smoking!. There are many resources on the web to help, like bulletin board support groups, etc!.

Only time not smoking helps heal the damage of smoking!. Although exercise does help strengthen your heart and lungs!.

Before starting a running regimen, get a physical from your doctor!. Make sure smoking has not lead to high blood pressure or other health problems that running could agitate!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
