How to clean a tongue bar?!

Question: How to clean a tongue bar!?

How do u clean them, like with earrings u'd disinfect them, but i cant do that seeing as its going in my mouth!.!.!.!.

i do mine with the stuff you can buy off the place you had it done hunny or if not i soak it in boiling hot water for ages
