I am blind in one eye, and want to drive?!

Question: I am blind in one eye, and want to drive!?
I will be able to drive in a few months, but i am legally blind in my right eye due to ONH!. (Optic Nerve Hypoplyasia) I have been blind in that eye all my life, so I am very used to it that way, since I have never seen any other way!. I do the things everyone else does, and can do them well, but driving scares me!. I am pretty sure you can drive if you are blind in one eye, i am not positive though!. I was wondering if you could, and also if it will greatly differ me from other drivers, and make me a poor driver!. Any tips on driving if you are blind in one eye!?
Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My boyfriend is legally blind in his left eye and has been all his life also so he is use to it!. Not only does he drive but he drives an 18-wheeler for his job!. So to answer your question yes providing your state will let you get your license you can drive!. If you are use to it then it probably won't be any different driving than riding a bike or anything else was for you!. Go for it!!!
P!.S!. - If you see a big gold 18-wheeler coming, you may want to stay clear, lol just kidding, he is an excellent driver!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, at least in one state in the U!.S!. (Arizona) - I knew a guy who was hit in the eye by a shotgun pellet and lost his sight, and he passed the driver's license test!. Unless anything has changed (this was 30 years ago), they allow one-eyed drivers!.

Your country or state may vary!. Most states should have their laws published on teh web by nowWww@Answer-Health@Com

It really depends on your state!. in California they won't give you a license because usually having one eye effects depth perception!. but either way good luck with that and if you do get a license drive safe!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
