Question: Will they make me take a drug test for an Internship!?
I have an interview for an Internship, for an entry level position at a large financial services company coming up shortly!. Their website states all employees are required to submit to pre-employment drug testing!.
Do you think they'll require this of me, as a three month Intern!?

It's a good possibility!. Best bet is delay the drug test as long as possible, stay clean and hope for the best!.

A lot of companies will say all employees must submit to a drug screening, but not actually do a piss test!. Some companies have a phone interview instead, 1 for yes 2 for no, and they ask do you do coke, and have you ever stolen from work!. That kinda thing you have to be an idiot not to pass, but I know somebody who didn't!.
Piss tests cost money and It depends on the company, but most aren't willing to spend it on not so important employees!. Most retail or fastfood chains will only test potential managers!. They wouldn't have any minimum wage employees if they tested everyone!.
But the important thing to know is there will be a wee bit of notice (did you notice the pun) before you actually have to pee in that cup!. They send you somewhere off-site, and say you have 1 or 2 days to get down there!. In that case you go get yourself a little bottle of Synthetic urine from the local headshop for about $20!. If you live in a lil podunk town you can buy a bottle off the internet!. Don't use someone else's urine, they know the rate of decay of urine, so they can tell if it's more than 20 minutes old!. The synthetic stuff is what they calibrate there machines with, so they have no way to tell!.
