Question: What is the thing in the back of your throat behind you uvula that looks like a tiny tongue !?
all of my friends think that i have some deformity because i have this little tongue that sticks up behind my uvula and none of them have it or if they do we cant see it!. does anyone have any idea what this is and if its normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds to me like you've got your anatomy nomenclature wrong!.
If you had something sticking up behind your uvula (actually, sticking down), no one would be able to see it without a laryngoscope or a dental mirror!. The only exception would be excess adenoid tissue, but your soft palate would have to be VERY short to see them!.
I find it hard to believe that a person's epiglottis (the tongue-shaped structure located hidden at the base of the tongue) would be so big as to be seen without having functional problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
