Question: What to do to get there approval!? (weightloss surgery)!?
Im 180 pounds overweight but now! my life just my change!.!.I have my doctors approval to get (GastricLapBAND) but he tells me I also need the approval of not only him but 8 other people! I have a meeting where I will meet these people which happen to be other doctors & judges & many other people I have to win them over & show them that if I get this surgery that I will be dedicated!.!.so far Ive been doing very well but Im very nervous & at 16 Im just so unsure what to say to prove to them that Im determind especially when there older people that I'll have to convince! I really want & need this my life is on a very back track Im obese I have trouble breathing & unbearble backpain Im a borderline diabetic & my family has a very big history of sickness which some of which obesity contributes to!.!.my mother also died from being sick but also obese! I want to live a long life!.!.can someone tell me what I can do & say to show these people that I wont let them or myself down!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would just tell them that now that you are 16, you understand the complications that can result from being obese!. You have a history of diabetes and disease in your family and you have seen first hand what being overweight can lead to and you don't want to go down that road!.
Tell them that you realize that surgery is a serious option and that you are committed and willing to do as your doctor tells you to in order to start living a new life and a long and healthy one!. Make sure they know that you don't look at the surgery as a "quick fix" but a tool to help get your life back on track!. Good luck and I'm sure if you just be yourself and start talking to them like their just regular people, everything will turn out the way it's suppossed to!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Tell them that your mother died from being obese and you don't want this to happen to you, tell them that you will stay in shape after the surgery and that you want to change you life for the better, tell them also that you are worried about becoming diabetic and that you want a better life for the future!. I'm shocked you got approved by the doctor, 180 over is a lot but usually they make you try to lose weight other ways before they consider it unless you are way obese!.
Be yourself, let them know how the weight effects your daily life and also let them know the bad eating and lifestyle habits you will change once this happens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
