Med/Surg is like a general area in the hospital!. You can get all types of patients there!. Medical patients, and Surgical patients!. You get a well rounded mix of this and that!.

Patients coming in with Diabetes, Alcohol Detox, Benzodiazepine Detox, Typically Minor Surgeries, pneumonia, delirium, and the list goes on!.

Typically care for 7 to possibly maybe 10 patients, depending on the hospital!.

its a section of the hospital!. like a ward!. the medsurg unit is where most patients who are staying in the hospital are!.

Another section of the hospital would be the psychiatric ward (for the crazies)!. another section would be the ICU (for people who are in critical condition)!. another section would be the emergency room!. another section would be the doctor's lounge (and the delicious coffee found there)Www@Answer-Health@Com
