it means your lymph node is swollen we have lymph nodes by our ears and just under the jaw line , we also have them under our arm pits back of our heads too!. toxin build up!. may have an infection it is usually a sign that u are getting a virus like the common cold or a viral infection hopefully it just effects your lymph nodes! sometimes that is the only symptom you can experience which is a good thingWww@Answer-Health@Com
you REALLY should go to the doctor for this!. Not trying to cause panic, but when I was younger I felt the same sensitivity in that area and they said it was very important that they treated it!. I got two shots in the thighs (I'm sorry to say) , but it was really important that I recieved those shots!.!.!.I think it would have caused a bad infection!. Please go to the doctor soon!.
Sorry about this!

I honestly don't know why it should hurt, but the doctors touch you there because it's a pulse point, not because they're looking for sensitivity!. It might be a bruise or something, but since it's in a softer area of your head I'd go get it checked out!. I'm sure it's nothing serious!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
