Question: I may have been bit by a bat and i do not know what to do can someone please help!!!!?
well at night in the loft(crawl space) next to my bed I was hearing weird noises but i didnt think anything of it!. so I went to sleep!. when i woke up at 10am the next morning my neck and arm hurt real bad( but i think this is because i slept funny) and i went downstairs to eat but i was still very tired so i went back upstairs and went back to sleep!. Finally when i woke at 1pm i got out of my bed and a bat flew right by me!. I was pretty scared!. well anyway i told my grandmom and she called animal control and they arived and captured the bat for testing!. later that day my dad opened the loft and 2 flew out so we called animal control again except it was a different person and she could care less she actualy said she doesnt have time for this!. so the other 2 were never caught yet so as im writing this there are still bats somewhere in my room which sucks but at least its blocked off!. But i am not sure if i have been bit and what percautions should i take such as who should i see or where should i go!. please help im pretty scaredWww@Answer-Health@Com

Don't worry! You are not in immediate danger!. Go to your doctor the first change you get and talk to him or her about your concerns!. Worst case scenario you'll have to get a rabies and tetanus shot, but you should be fine!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK depending on where you live the bat bite will not KILL you!.!.!. worst case scenario you turn into a VAMPIRE!
call animal control again and get the bats removed, look up what species it is by typing in a description into GOOGLE, and find out if it's bite has any side effects!.
eg!. "large pink ears, upturned nose brown body" *search*
As far as i know bats dont bite humans the only bat that would bite is a vampire bat but they simply make a wound and lick at the blood they dont "suck" per say!.
Only wild bats (far as i know) will give you rabies or turn you into a vampire!. (lol) See a doctor but in the mean time drink 8 glasses of water a day to help your body get rid of the substance from the bat bite!.
