Down, because if you have it up, the blood flows down your throat!. This will make your stomach hurt because you shouldn't digest blood, and it's not a good idea!.
If it's down, though, the blood flows out of your nose until it clots enough to stop!.

I suggest not tilting your head at all just look forward!.
Down is uncomfortable and doesn't really help anything!.

your supposed to keep your head up!. bloodflow should be level and above the heart so you dont bleed too much!. pinch the nose as well so the blood can clot and you can stop bleedingWww@Answer-Health@Com
