Should I be worried about the lead in the cord of my clothes iron?!
Question: Should I be worried about the lead in the cord of my clothes iron!?
On the cord of my iron it has a warning label that says to wash your hands after handling because the cord contains the chemical lead!. Is this something I need to be concerned about!? Should I get another iron!? I only use it maybe once a week!. Also, if there was lead in the cord would washing my hands after touching really do anything!? Help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not sure!. One time we bought this joy stick for our computer and it said the same thing and we just too a warm damp towel and wiped the cord it of and didn't worry about it after that!. Also Christmas lights say that a lot too!. If you are really worried get another iron or wash your hands after you touch the cord!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
