Why did my concern get ignored by the doctor?!

Question: Why did my concern get ignored by the doctor!?
I told him that I have trouble sleeping and ALWAYS very tired!. He told me, how many hours do you get on average per night!? I told him 5-6 hours!. He said, THAT is why you're tired!. I kind of looked at him like, yeah I know, but even though I'm tired I can't get to sleep!. He then asked me what I do for a living and I told him!. He said, is your job stressful!? I said No, cause really it isn't!. He then asked me, are the sleeping patterns of your family members similar to yours!? I said no, cause they're not!. He then changed the subject and I got the impression that I was wasting his time with this concern!. What should I do!?

You should change doctors immediately!. If he ignores your concerns about your lack of sleep what ELSE is he ignoring!. You pay the doctor a very high price for his time and professional treatment!. He OWES you respect, concern, dignity, and his professional services!. If you're not getting ALL of those he's not doing what you're paying him for!. Find someone who will!.!.!.

He shouldn't be treating you like you're some silly little female, which he is!. He's shameful and his behavior is outrageous!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most likely he didn't have a good answer and was avoiding putting you on sleeping pills as they are addictive!. Melatonin may help you sleep better at night, benadryl can also!. A B-12 vitamin during the morning to help your energy may help also!. If you follow a "normal" routine and work during the day and sleep at night no caffeine after 1pm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i come from queensland, australia and i find that there are a lot of people going to the doctors these days and they can usually only give you five minutes or so at about the cost of eleven dollars a minute( a good price)!. i think the main issue for us here though, besides our fair share of dodgy doctors, it is the health system in general that is letting us down!. maybe the same where you are!.
besides all of that, a new Doctor for you is on the agenda i think!. sleep deprivation is not a good thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make an appointment with a sleep specialist!. They will listen to you and find out if there is anything medically they can do for you!. If you are now not comfortable asking your doctor for a referral, check with your insurance company!. Or even an online or phone book search should turn up some sleep specialists!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the doc sounds like a real buffoon, get another doctor's oppinion, and raise some hell with both of them till you get some answers, not just a prescription!.
alot of concerns are ignored by doctors because the patient isn't adamant enough!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

get more sleep, eat a balanced diet, exercise, and take responsibility for yourself!. your doctor addressed your concerns by telling you the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
