I was diagnosed with anemia a month ago and I've been taking iron pills since then well anyways next week I want to donate blood and I was wondering do you think my anemia has gone away since I've been taking iron pills daily!. I was only diagnosed with mild anemia and I'm trying to be optomistic!.!.!. but do you guys think I'll be able to donate by next week!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stay healthy and keep up with the iron!.
They will test your blood!. you can tell them that you were low iron but have been working on it and have them check the iron count!. They can tell in a few seconds!. If you are low, they will not draw the blood!.
I've give well over a gallon over the years!. I've had low days, no problem, just try to keep the iron up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Absolutely not!! I don't mean to be be a pessimist but anemia is a serious condition!. I have personal experience with it, not from myself, but!.!. how shall I say!.!. "associates"!.

no!. it is not wise at this time to donate!. you should ask your doctor at this time who is treating you!. think about it!. your iron count is low, you are on medicine to build it up!. do not donate at this time!. take care of yourself, then help others!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
