Question: How can u tell ur finger/knuckle is broken!?

Well i was playing basketball and this kid hit my finger and bent it back so it touchd the back of my hand!. My finger looks like a hot dog and hurts really bad!. my finger nail is turning black!. and my finger is badly bruised!. Should i go to the er and get it checkd out or is it just jamed!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
