That's a good question!. I'm a respiratory therapist and I've never heard anyone ask that before!.
I really don't think it would make that much difference because air has to pass through the upper airway and trachea (windpipe) to get to the lungs, so no matter how much air is taken in through the nose, it is still restricted as it passes through the airways!.
Think of the analogy of an interstate!. Only so many cars can travel it at once, no matter how wide the entrance ramps are!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
