Question: How fast do I drink the horrible tasting drink for a colonoscopy!?
I have the directions gievn to me and it says down an 8 ounce glass every ten minutes, but i cant seem to do it that fast!. I feel like I will get sick if I drink it too fast!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it;s going to make you throw up just drink as fast as you can without getting sick!. The pharmacist I work for always says to make it really cold (it's easier to get down) or even mix it with something to make the taste a little better!. Bit it will still work just fine even if you don't get the full 8 oz every ten min!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Are you sure it says, "every 10 minutes"!? The reason I ask, because when I had mine done last year, I was given 2 small 4oz bottles of the most awful, disgustingly tasting stuff to be mixed with 12 oz of my choice of drink, followed by 24-48ozs of water!. I had to switch from water to Gatorade because I felt so weak!. Anyway, I was instructed to take my stuff 6 hours apart!. Take the first 4oz at 2:00pm and the second at 8pm that Sunday evening for my test the following Monday!. If its not too late, call your local Pharmacist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You're drinking Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) aka anti-freeze!. Of course you're gagging!. It has the lowest acceptance rate of all of the preps!. There are some doctors who offer less offensive alternatives and others who appreciate the gifts, lunches, etc!. from the pharmaceutical sales people!. Sorry for your blind faith in doctors!. I had a one last year and I did not have to take any thing I just had to be cleaned out and I had a scoping done!. a scoping is when a use a lite and go up and check you out!. ask your Dr!. about that procedure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
