That depends on who you ask, really!. But in my experience, it does exist!. I suffered from odd right lower abdominal pain off and on for almost three years!. I had all the usual exams to find an explanation, and none was ever found!. I did not have poly-cystic ovaries, no infections, PID, endometriosis, or any of the usual culprits!. Then while deployed to Turkey at the start of the first Gulf War, I spiked a fever and was in the most pain I've ever felt!. I was evacuated to the rear, where I parted company with an appendix that the pathologist said showed evidence of chronic, long term inflammation!. Since I lost the appendix, I've never had a problem at all!. So I'd say yes, it does exist!. I can't say if that is your trouble or not!. The "fever" really isn't one, 99 is perfectly acceptable!. It's not considered fever until you hit 102!. Until then it's simply elevated, and at 99 isn't really even that!. You may be experiencing ovulation pain, as well!. With a female, right lower quadrant pain just has too many potential explanations than just the appendix, and it would require a workup and exam to be able to say exactly what may or may not be happening!. If you are or have been sexually active, it's also possible you have an infection!. Your best choice here would be to see your doctor, be examined and tested, and see where that takes you next!. Once they eliminate all the other causes, then it becomes possible!. Still, until it finally decides what it wants to do, there isn't much you need to do!. If it does decide to go, you won't have to ask if that's the problem!. Trust me, you will know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
