There really isn't a difference!. Fainting does not mean you will go unconscious !.!.!. that is when people refer to it as a collapse!. Either way, its really the same thing!.!.!. and needs medical attention!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fainting: blacking out, unconscious
Collapsing: one's legs give way and one falls to the ground

Collapsing can be fainting if the person blacks out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
