Since lead quickly gets metabolized out of the bloodstream, are there other ways!

Question: Since lead quickly gets metabolized out of the bloodstream, are there other ways of quantifying it!?
Will hair or fingernails adequately indicate lead content in a person, if you were trying to determine how much lead had been introduced into their system over the preceding few months, as opposed to days!?

Also, how is a person's cumulative lead exposure determined!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Wrong-o!. Lead is VERY persistent, and heavy metals like lead and mercury are extremely toxic and have to be removed artificially!. The most common tests for exposure and accumulation involve hair and nails, though more may be needed!. A few months may not mean as much for an adult as a small child, though, since kids tend to chew contaminated paint chips!. Only one therapy, "chelation," addresses the problem, and if your doc or the yellow pages won't help, a hospital should!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

abdominal pain and irritability followed by lethargy, anorexia, pallor (resulting from anemia), ataxia, and slurred speech!. Convulsions, coma, and death due to generalized cerebral edema and renal failure occur in the most severe casesWww@Answer-Health@Com
