Whats the difference in a radiologist and a radiologist tech??!
Question: Whats the difference in a radiologist and a radiologist tech!?!?
im in the 10th grade and decided that i either want to be a radiologist or a radiologist tech!. whats is the difference in these two jobs!. (schooling, work hours, pay, ect!.) also what are some jobs in radiology, do i have to have different degrees to do x-rays or to work with cancer patients using radiology!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

A radiologist is a Medical Doctor who reads & analyzes & diagnoses what the X-ray, CT scan or MRI, Radiation,etc!. mean!. 4 years Med school, internship, 3 yrs residency, 1 yr optional fellowship!.
A radiology tech is the person who gives the tests!. They usually have a certificate program!. Google: Radiology technician education requirements!. You would need specialized training for each type of machine!.!.!.not necessarily by diagnosis!.
Time depends on your setting: Hosp!. clinic, MD's office Pretty much day time!. ER time will vary on your shift!.
