It really depends on what the medication was, dear!. Fortunately most medications folks keep around the house, including over the counter types, actually just lose effectiveness!. They don't morph into poison!. At the worst usually you just don't get any relief from it!. You are likely dizzy because you are hyperventilating slightly and upset!. Just relax, chances are good you will be just fine!. Next time, check the dates on the stuff before you down it, and don't keep prescription medications hanging around once you finish with them!. It's just never a good idea!. Best to buy over the counter stuff on an as needed basis, unless it's something you use regularly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Not likely - if anything, it won't be as effective!. I take old medicine all the time, as does my mother who is a nurse!. You can always call one of walgreen's 24-hour pharmacists who can give you information specific to what you took!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
