Question: HELP! I CANT SLEEP - 10 pts best answer!?
Its a school night, and I went to sleep at 8:30 because I felt sick!. I woke up at 2:30 AM, and I havent been able to fall back asleep!. Ive tried counting sheep, drinking tea, and all of the other sleeping tricks in the book!. Please, what do I do, I must get to sleepWww@Answer-Health@Com

Of course, try to sleep first!.
If not, clean your face, hands & foot then go to bed!. Switch off the light!. Just lie down on your bed & close your eyes!. Either you listen very light sound just like generated from fan or any thing as and try to concentrate over the sound!. If not possible, sit down on your bed and look constantly to a small object and keep your brain thoughtless!. I am sure you will be having a very sound sleep within 15 minutes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, try falling sleep to some really mello familiar music!. The melloness is for obvious reasons, the familiarness is just so you dont end up singing along or paying real attention to the music and try judging it!. I suggest Sigur Ros, Snow Patrol, Augustana, etc!. That's just my sorta music though lol!.
Second, If you really cant sleep then it's time to come to terms with it!. Get up, get busy, do some homework or something to keep you awake!. Stay awake, shower, go to school, come back, do some more stuff, and go to bed at a reasonable hour!. It's better to stay awake and get back into your normal sleeping pattern than to continue messing it up!.

The bad news is you woke up in the middle of the night at 2:30 am and can't get back to sleep but the good news is you already had a good 6 hours of sleep! Just resting on bed thinking of happy thoughts and not pressure to get more sleep should do the trick!. Just tell yourself whatever amount of sleep you are getting until the time you need to be up for school is a bonus because you still have 4 hours to laze around on bed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what time do you usually do to bed!? it is like 10!.30 or something, your body is still alert and active at 8!.30!. its natural to wake up during the night if you go to bed too early/late compared to your usual sleeping habits!.

when your sick its the same story!. when you go to bed, take a sleeping tablet to help you not wake up, as its 10 times worse, waking up in the middle of the night when your sick!.

Also, try to clear your mind!. dont dwell on problems you may be having!. instead, think about happy and lgiht topics, like a holiday you might be taking!.!.!.

well i know its kind of bad, but sometimes when i really cant sleep i take tylonel PM!. hahaha or if i dont have that i stay on the computar for about an hour and my eyes get really tired!. or i study, because i hate studying, i get tired faster!. hahaWww@Answer-Health@Com

read something!.!.
drink nyquil
watch an extremely boring movie
call someone that has a sooooothing voice

Having tea will keep you awake!. Sit on your bed cross legged and take deep breath then release it!. Do it ten times and you will start yawning and will sleep within 10 minutes!.
